Great blog! Do you know where Taco Del Mar gets its fish? Do they make it themselves or get it from a seafood company?

It's not possible to get honey youghurt where I'm from, but I guess I could make my own mix. Is there any sugar in that yoghurt or is it sweetened with honey only?

Don't worry, there's no scoffing here at personal tastes. :) It has been awhile since I've had fish tacos from Taco del Mar, but I would say you might want to try a lemon instead of lime base?

You could also add plain yogurt for that natural tartness if you don't like the sweet, but I don't even think yogurt is necessary. In fact, I think the authentic recipe only calls for sour cream and lime. :)

You will probably scoff at this, but I am trying to replicate the Taco Del Mar white sauce. I think that it is mostly salty, so I'm not sure about trying a recipe that includes a sweet yogurt. I will try adding lemon pepper seasoning to the sour cream plus some lime juice.

Any thoughts on this?
