Charities and Organizations We Support
As a social venture organization revolving around food, Chef Seattle is committed to supporting local charities and organizations, but especially those that deal with food education and hunger. Such organizations include farmer and consumer education, buying local outreaches and of course, food donations for the hungry.
Being a small organization, Chef Seattle realizes that our donation dollars may not be much, which is we hope to stretch them as far as possible. We select only the most efficient charities and non-profits, who we feel are both well run and good intentioned. When at all possible, we will provide documentation on our website of the charities we have supported as well as our contribution amount.
In the future, Chef Seattle hopes to be able to partner with willing restaurants and non-profit groups to host charity event nights, where a portion of all tickets sold at the restaurant will go toward beneficial causes. If you are a restaurant owner or non-profit member who would be interested in participating in this program, please contact us for more information on how you may get involved.
